"A few years ago, an unmistakable voice came across my radio as I heard the song “Kissing a Fool.” Immediately, I had to find out whose voice it was! It belonged to Philadelphia-based vocalist, Laurin Talese, and that song was from her most recent release, “Gorgeous Chaos.” I spoke with Laurin earlier this year about her vocal technique which stems from classical training as well as the influence of artists like Sarah Vaughan.
