In Studio: Ramsey Lewis

This week, we are joined by NEA Jazz Master Ramsey Lewis. Since the mid-50s, the Chicago native has been sharing his brand of jazz with listeners and fans around the world. His first big hit was a live recording of "The 'In' Crowd." Now in 2020, Ramsey is going live again with a series of monthly streaming concerts - The Saturday Salon. You'll hear the story behind the inspiration for these concerts along with the reminiscing of Ramsey's memorable moments through the decades.
