We’re pleased to bring you an interview with saxophonist and educator, Alexa Tarantino. She has performed with a number of popular groups including Sherrie Maricle and the DIVA Jazz Orchestra. Earlier this summer, Alexa released the album, “Winds of Change.” As she continues her transition from a sideperson to a leader, this album showcases some of her advanced skill and technique as a saxophonist. Alexa begins the conversation with some memories of her childhood in Connecticut.
